Wisconsin soil map units are available via an interactive online map courtesy of the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP).

To get started, open the interactive map* using Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome give issues.

Begin by checking the boxes to the left of the map for 1) Soil Map Unit and 2) Monochrome Air Photo. Then begin 3) zooming to locating your field or area. Soil map units will become visible as you get closer to field level.
